The geta matched my foot size perfectly. It can be uncomfortable to wear tabi socks and shoes. Geta are not part of Western footwear. I could wear these geta all day long during a stressful time with no problem. They are perfectly made for the shape of the foot. I was very grateful for their comfort.
Obviously, I am not Japanese! I have trained in Iaido for many years and have been granted the title of “shihan”. After a long illness, my mother died, and I had to choose my funeral garb. The dojo is my church, so I decided to honor my mother by wearing a formal Japanese outfit. I had everything except for shoes! I searched and found Wasuian’s geta online. They seemed perfect for my needs. Wasuian was very responsive and helpful in making sure I could recieve the geta in time for the funeral. Thanks to them, I was able to honor my mother’s lie in the proper outfit.

いうまでもなく、私は日本人ではありません。長年にわたり居合道を修練し、「師範」の称号を拝受しております。長い闘病の末に母が亡くなり、葬儀に際して身にまとう装いを選ぶ必要がありました。私にとって道場は教会のような場所であるため、母への敬意を込めて、日本の正式な装いで見送りたいと考えました。必要なものはすべて揃っておりましたが、履物だけが欠けていました。そこで探し当てたのが、和粋庵の下駄です。私の求める条件にふさわしいものだと感じました。和粋庵は迅速かつ丁寧に対応してくださり、葬儀に間に合うよう手配してくださいました。そのおかげで、ふさわしい装いで母の生涯に敬意を表し、見送ることができました。
